If you have problems, contact one of the tourney hosts - Sexytxrose or galinaxgirl for assistance. They will be identifiable in the room by the yellow smiley face.
Please make sure you understand at the beginning of the matches whether these are Round Robin or Single Elimination Matches. The Host will indicate and it will be listed on the Tourney Calendar (up top - Click on View Tourney Calendar).

Canasta Rules
For those of you that want to learn POGO Canasta, I have included screen shots here with pertinent instructions. Here are the basic's....
4 Player Canasta
not full. It will take a few minutes to load the first time.
Options For Playing - Select the ones shown above.
Read red notes and purple notes on screen shot above.
Here you see that the top card is a 4. You do not have a pair of 4's, so you will draw from deck, (just click on deck).
In order to meld you will have to have the amount of points that are showing on your board (MY TEAMS MELDS). Note that with the 8's and the joker I have
80 points so I can pick up the 8. I click on the 8 that is in discard pile, see
8's from my hand add joker and click on my meld button. (Note meld button
will change colors when you can meld). Look at the 8's on your score board,
this is what it will look like after you meld.

Pogo's Helpful Hints
Try to pick up the discard pile. Don't meld unless it helps you pick up the discard pile. The person with the most cards often wins.
Try to pick up the discard pile. Don't meld unless it helps you pick up the discard pile. The person with the most cards often wins.
Make your opening meld as small as possible, and try to be the first to get the discard pile.
Discard cards that are only worth 5 points (4 - 7) and collect high-scoring cards.
Hoard special cards like Black 3's, Jokers and 2's and use them strategically to freeze the discard pile and/or increase the value of your melds.
Don't get caught with wild cards and high-value cards in your hand when your opponent melds out - if it looks like your opponent is ready to go out, add your wild cards and high-value cards to your melds.
Watch what your opponent melds and discards in order to avoid discarding cards that will help your opponent build canastas or pick up the discard pile.
Click the Ctrl key before clicking one of your cards in order to select all of the cards of the same value. Click the Shift key before clicking your cards in order to select every card in your hand.
